Overview

Ippudo Ayala 30th, nestled within Ayala Malls The 30th in Pasig, offers an authentic slice of Japan’s beloved ramen culture right in Metro Manila. This ramen restaurant has quickly become a go-to spot for those seeking a comforting, flavorful meal paired with a welcoming atmosphere. The interior strikes a balance between cozy and modern, creating a space that appeals both to casual diners and ramen aficionados looking for a genuine experience.

At the heart of Ippudo’s menu are its signature ramen dishes. The Shiromaru Motoaji Special stands out with its creamy, pork-based broth, faithfully replicating the classic Hakata-style ramen that put Ippudo on the map. For fans of bolder flavors, the Tantanmen Ramen offers a rich, spicy kick that warms the palate. Complementing the ramen are expertly crafted sides like the Hakata Style Gyoza—crispy yet tender—and the sso2 Pork Bun, a satisfying bite that echoes traditional Japanese street food.

Beyond ramen, Ippudo Ayala 30th showcases an array of dishes such as Ippudo Original Salad, Torched Salmon Roll, and Nanban Karaage, each thoughtfully prepared to round out the dining experience. The Yokohama Shoyu offers a lighter, soy-based ramen variation, while the EBI Tempura and Chicken Bun bring texture and depth to any meal. Diners often praise how filling these portions are, defying initial expectations of typical Japanese cuisine being light or minimal.

The restaurant’s setting adds to the experience. Clean and well-decorated, it provides both intimacy and space, making it suitable for a quick lunch or a relaxed birthday celebration alike. Staff attentiveness is consistently highlighted in reviews; servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to guide first-timers through the nuances of ramen—whether it's offering condiment tips or menu recommendations, enhancing the overall enjoyment.

Ippudo Ayala 30th also caters well to those who appreciate convenience without sacrificing quality. The ability to place orders from the neighboring Yabu outlet extends the dining options, reflecting a flexible and customer-oriented approach. This synergy between adjacent restaurants enriches the experience for those wanting variety under one roof.

Targeted largely at local food enthusiasts and ramen lovers craving authentic Japanese fare, Ippudo Ayala 30th successfully bridges cultural flavors with a contemporary dining environment. It’s a destination that delivers consistently solid meals, thoughtful service, and a pleasing atmosphere—all ingredients that make it a notable stop in Pasig’s vibrant culinary scene.

A good branch of Ippudo. Their ramen was authentic, just like in Japan, and definitely worth the price. The service was also excellent, we had no problem calling the staff, who were friendly and attentive. The place itself was clean and well- decorated. A good experience overall.

1st visit Good food, ambiance and accommodating staff. Hope it could be served within 15 minutes on my next visit 2nd visit Good review, as always. Even better than our previous visit. Meals are very filling. Brownie lava cake hit the spot. Just a little too sweet. 3rd visit Ate here on my birthday. Thought they have small portions but boy, was that filling! New fav: Butadon lava cake wasn't lava enough, but it still tasted good with the ice cream. Accommodating staff, too.

During this trip, we decided to change things up a bit and instead of our usual Yabu, we went right next door to Ippudo. We managed to arrive just before the usual lunch crowd and had the place to ourselves, at least for a few minutes.

I get excited every start of the month to see what limited-time ramen flavor is Ramen Nagi going to launch. And so happy that they opened the option to have these delivered. So far, the best ones I've tried are: Oyster King: pan-seared plump oyster are the main stars of this ramen Seafood Black Curry: not cloying curry flavor and has right level of spiciness Iberico chashu ramen: love the torched chashu (they replaced what I ordered because they placed normal chashu)

it was my first time trying out in this resto and didn’t expect that their food is 10/10. i have been craving for some ramen and this resto just satisfied my cravings! service is 10/10 as well, the server was very kind and really helpful to guide us on eating ramen and using the condiments. we also asked for their recommendations as this was our first time & they were happily to give their recos + explain why is the best. there is also a yabu resto beside it and we asked if we can also order from there, and they said yes! so if you want to also buy from yabu, they will order and serve them to you while youre in ippudo

Definitely worth the price. Ordered the Shiromaru special and it was good! Maybe add an option for spiciness or at least have the condiments ready and served should the guests want to add more spice into their meal. Overall the ambience was great, food was great, price is okay, and the service -- they'll spray your hands with alcohol whenever your food is served and when you're done! Nifty!

Having tried Ippudo Ramen in Kyoto, Japan, it’s hard not to draw comparisons. The version we have here in the Philippines is quite good, mind you—but as you’d expect, the experience is just on another level when you’re having it in its country of origin. That’s probably true for most cuisines; there’s something about local ingredients, technique, and atmosphere that’s tough to replicate. That said, if we’re talking purely about what’s available locally, we’d say Ramen Nagi edges out Ippudo—not just in terms of flavor, but also in portion size. Ramen Nagi’s bowls feel a bit more satisfying overall. Still, Ippudo remains a solid pick. The broth is flavorful, the noodles have that nice bite, and the quality is consistent. If you’re craving ramen and spot an Ippudo nearby, it’s definitely worth a visit—you likely won’t walk away disappointed.

A very good place to eat if you like ramen. They offer vegan ramen (mushroom and tofu) which was absolutely awesome.
